• Candidate shall have attended on a full-time basis an adequate number of national or regional conferences, seminars and workshops;
• Candidate shall provide details on camping association involvement in any two of the following:
• Participate as contributor at an educational camping association conference, seminar or professional development event
• Publish in a camping association magazine or prepare independently an article, book, thesis or study bearing on camping or a related discipline
• Serve as a member of a camping association committee

Standards Accreditation Program
• Candidate shall attain a comprehensive knowledge of the purposes, procedures and requirements of the accreditation standards program of the camping association with which the candidate is affiliated.
• Candidate shall accompany an official standards visitor on two visits.

Camp Programming
A. Candidate shall be able to evolve a complete seasonal and daily camp program related to specific philosophies and purposes, physical environment, equipment available and effectiveness of staff.
B. Candidate shall have an understanding of scheduled, un-scheduled, autocratic, democratic, and free program organization and techniques.
C. Candidate shall attain sufficient knowledge of Red Cross, Life Saving Society, and other recognized activity programs to incorporate them into a camp program.
