For Excellence in Writing on Organized Children's Camping in Canada

Awards
The Society of Camp Directors sponsors the annual SCD Writing Awards to encourage research and writing that enhances professional practices and qualified directorship in Canadian camps.
One or more awards of $500.00 each are presented annually at the November meeting of the Society.
The Awards are funded by the Society of Camp Directors, the Ontario Camping Association, and the Trent University Archives. Entries are evaluated by an academic and professional panel representing SCD, OCA, and Trent. All entries will become valued references in the body of Canadian camping knowledge at the Trent Archives.
